Solar Christmas Lights
Solar powered Christmas lights can be used in the same ways that traditional lights are used for outdoor decorating. But, since they do require at least three hours of direct sunlight and a total of eight hours to reach a full charge, you may want to consider only using them on the side of the house that gets the most sun. The bulbs used in this type of lighting aren't normally as bright as the regular Christmas lights. Solar bulbs emit a light haze around them, more like flourescent lighting. Although, as long as they're taken care of the bulbs have a lot longer life span than regular bulbs.
